Terms
Terms & disclaimer
Short version: a compatibility report is information to help you decide. It is not a guarantee that a fixture will fit, and it is not an installation instruction.
Using the app
By using Bidets: Smart Toilet Fit, you agree to these terms. The app is provided free of charge, without an account, and is intended for personal use in planning a bathroom fixture purchase.
Informational guidance only
The app compares measurements you enter against specifications published by fixture manufacturers, and presents the result as a compatibility report. That report is informational guidance.
It is not professional plumbing, electrical, engineering, or code-compliance advice, and it does not create a professional relationship of any kind. The accuracy of a report depends on the accuracy of the measurements you enter.
Verify specifications and local code
You are responsible for confirming the details before you buy or install anything.
- Check the manufacturer’s current specification sheet and installation instructions for the exact model and variant you intend to purchase. Manufacturers revise documents and change specifications between production runs.
- Check your local plumbing and electrical code. Code requirements vary by jurisdiction and may be stricter than a manufacturer’s stated minimum. Clearances, receptacle placement, and GFCI requirements are common examples.
- Have a licensed plumber and, where electrical work is involved, a licensed electrician confirm the installation is appropriate and permitted for your property.
Where a report and the manufacturer’s own documentation disagree, the manufacturer’s documentation governs. Where local code is stricter than a manufacturer’s minimum, local code governs.
No guarantee of fit or installation safety
A report that shows all checks passing does not guarantee that a fixture will fit your bathroom, function correctly, or be safe to install. It means only that the measurements you entered cleared the published requirements the app compared them against.
The app does not inspect your property. It cannot see the condition of your flange, floor, supply line, shut-off valve, wiring, or wall, and it does not evaluate whether an installation is structurally or electrically sound. That assessment requires a qualified professional on site.
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Merchant and affiliate links
After you confirm the critical measurements with a tape, a verified model may include a link to a merchant. We may earn a commission from a qualifying purchase made through that link, at no extra cost to you.
Compatibility results are ranked by fit, then price—never by commission. Affiliate relationships do not change measurements, requirements, verdicts, or the order of equally compatible products. Merchant availability, pricing, delivery, returns, warranties, and transactions are controlled by the merchant.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app or reliance on a report — including a fixture that does not fit, a purchase that must be returned, installation or remediation costs, or damage to property.
Decisions about what to buy and how to install it remain yours, made with the professionals you engage.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after that date means you accept the revised terms.
